Everyone wants to taste cigarettes that are amazing and unique, but not all brands have these two qualities except Luckies. Luckies or Lucky Strike as they are officially known as is a wonderful brand that is desired by millions of smokers around the world. One good reason for such delectable nature of this brand is the way they are made. This special cigarette has a unique processing method, which is very different from other brands. While making Lucky Strike cigarettes the tobacco leaves are toasted and not sun dried. This gives the tobacco a smoky aroma and real inviting taste. The taste and flavor of this brand is so unique and good that Lucky Strike smokers can easily differentiate this from other premium brands. We shall delve a little into the history of this brand: Lucky Strike cigarettes were first sold in 1871 as a chewing tobacco product and only after many years that they were launched as cigarettes by R.A. Patterson. Lucky Strike brand was acquired by the American Tobacco Company in the year 1905. The filter version of this brand was available in the United States only in 1999; this may be a little late but Luckies have seen remarkable growth lately in the United States. Lucky Strike cigarettes are available in different flavors and types; some of them are Lucky Strike Lights (Silver), Lucky Strike Original Red, Lucky Strike Original Silver, Lucky Strike Lights (Silver) and more. The cigarettes that are labeled as "Lights" have a mild and smooth taste. These light versions are for people who hate to smoke harsh cigarettes. Lucky Strike Light variant is definitely the best mild cigarette available. This brand also has a very attractive logo which was designed by Raymond Lowey. Raymond is well known for his logo designs for brands like "Coca Cola" and "Shell." Earlier Lucky Strike cigarettes had a dark green pack, but then in 1942 it was changed into white. Officially the makers of this brand said that this was done to reduce the chromium and copper materials usage but the truth is that it was done to attract more women smokers. |
